Our daughter has attended PWA for many years, where she has made some fantastic friends for life. Not only is she having fun and building her confidence through Performing Arts but unlike many other academies the students are taught to work towards LAMDA & ISTD Dance examinations which is a testament to their level of professionalism. Highly recommend!
My daughter, a dancer since she could walk, has thrived upon becoming a member of PWA. Over and above the superlative training employed by Emma in developing her dancing skills, there is little doubt that the self-expression encouraged in theatre classes and the friendships developed therein, has helped my daughter cope with both challenging home circumstances and the dramatic culture shock involved in moving from a small village primary school to the broader and much more demanding social environment of a larger secondary school. Insofar as, at the tender age of 11, my daughter has already chosen dance as a career, should she succeed, there is no doubt that the Peploe-Williams Academy will have been the primary driving force behind her success.
The training at this school is exemplary. Emma and her tutors are committed to giving all the students the time and effort they need to excel.
I have had the pleasure of being an adjudicator at this amazing place. Emma’s passion, dedication and heart is at the centre of this Academy. As a West End professional, she knows the business and the guidance she gives the students is invaluable. I was blown away by the talent of the students. They are taught all the disciplines - dancing, singing and acting in a fun and nurturing environment by the brilliant teachers who are industry professionals. Along with Emma, these teachers know how to guide and inspire the students, pushing them to be the very best they can be. The students also learn to make friends, build confidence and achieve goals. It brings me back to when I trained at Arts Ed London many years ago. As a West End professional, I look back on those years and the brilliant training I received with so much gratitude. Teachers who believe in you make all the difference in the world, bringing out the very best in you, giving you the tools to succeed. PWA has this and so much more.
A wonderful Academy led by Emma - who is a highly experienced professional and a wise and wonderful person. It was a pleasure adjudicating for such well-run school - seeing the development of many young happy professionals-in-the-making x
I'm so grateful for pwa. I started there when I was 8 and stayed all the way until 18. They built me as a person with confidence, gave me skills and understanding of what's needed in order to grow in and enjoy working in this business including attitude towards/comfortability with auditions and levels of professionalism. I was truly nurtured there, and 9 years later am still supported by Emma, coming to my drama school shows and now my professional ones. It's still some of my fondest memories
My daughter has been part of PWA for the past 7 years and absolutely loves it! She looks forward to her dance and musical theatre lessons every week and has made some amazing friends through the academy. The teaching and approach to lessons, exams and shows is so professional, but also a lot of fun. She has learnt so much, not only how to perform technically but she has also gained so much confidence. I would recommend PWA to anyone who wants to pursue a career in performing arts or simply wants to explore and enjoy singing, dancing and acting!
There are never enough words to describe my experience for PWA. I wholeheartedly recommend Peploe-Williams Academy for any young person aspiring to enter the performing arts industry. Having attended for over 12 years, I can attest that Emma's exceptional training is the most fundamental training I’ve ever received. The academy not only provides invaluable skills but also allows each student to be unapologetically them in a safe and honest environment where they can reach their full potential. I am immensely grateful for the guidance and training received, shaping me into a confident and skilled performer I am today. Thank you, Peploe-Williams Academy, for being the foundation of my journey in the performing arts.
My daughter started when she was 6 and left when she was 18. Now performing professionally after doing a 3 year Musical Theatre Diploma and passed with a first. Her experience with Emma really helped her to get where she is today and can’t thank her enough. Emma’s professional guidance, nurturing and knowing the business is priceless. My daughter is now 25 and knows she can always call on Emma anytime. Peploe-Williams Academy isn’t just a school it’s a family for ever.
Our daughter has always had a deep love for dancing and dressing up, even from a very young age. It's amazing to see how her passion has grown over the years. From ballet to gymnastics to street dance, she dabbled in various clubs, but it wasn't until she discovered PWA at 11/12 years old that everything changed. As parents, we were a little hesitant at first. We worried that it might be too late for her to truly pursue her dreams of becoming a performer. But boy, were we wrong! Ella has worked tirelessly, pushing herself to achieve her grades and secure a place at dance college 6th form. Now, 6 years after starting her journey with PWA, she has just submitted her UCAS application to some of the most prestigious performing arts schools: Italia Conti, Urdang, GSA, MPAA, and Dancebox. We couldn't be prouder of her determination and dedication. One of the key factors that has made all the difference for Ella is Miss Emma and the incredible team at PWA. They have always been there to support and encourage her, believing in her talents and pushing her to reach new heights. Emma truly goes above and beyond for her students, tirelessly working to equip them with the skills and confidence they need to flourish. But PWA is more than just a performing arts school to Ella. It's a family. The bond between the students, both juniors and seniors, is something truly special. Witnessing their unwavering support for one another is incredibly touching. This school has a unique way of nurturing this sense of camaraderie and inspiring kids to chase after their dreams. If you're a parent wondering if it's too late for your child, let me assure you, it's never too late. PWA has shown us that it's never too late to make new friends, build confidence, and pursue a passion. This place is truly magical, and we are forever grateful for the love and support they have given our daughter. PWA family, you hold a special place in our hearts. ❤️
Our daughter has been attending the Academy for a couple of years now and she thoroughly enjoys it. She leaves the classes full of joy and is always excited to attend.
Peploe-Williams Academy is a brilliant place for kids to be inspired, have fun and learn skills. Children who want to be a professional actor will get all the training and support they need and many of their pupils have worked whilst at the academy as children and alumni as adults. Other children just want an extra-curricular activity and the academy gives them this with teachers who have all worked professionally but know how to make it lots of fun. Singing, dancing and acting are all taught but what the kids get is so much more - inspiration, creativity, social skills, confidence and an all round great time.
My daughter has been attending Peploe-Williams Academy for over 6 years now and still loves it just as much if not more than the day she's joined. She has grown so much in confidence and has made an incredible group of friends who are so supportive. Over the years she's had the opportunity to sit both LAMDA and ISTD exams and the teaching staff have always made sure she is fully prepared and confident which has always been reflected in her results.
Peploe Williams is such an incredible place to learn, develop and most importantly enjoy yourself. At my time at PWA i have felt safe, comfortable and the teachers put students learning and enjoyment above all else. It’s such a great community and if you are looking for somewhere to send your child Peploe is the best choice.
I trained at PWA for seven years. Emma is generous, diligent, intelligent, caring and fights tooth and nail for every kid in her school. I learned so much and had an absolutely brilliant time. PWA is a family where your confidence, passion and identity is nurtured and developed. I can’t recommend it enough.
The absolute best training a young performer could wish for. The school is at an exceptional standard, unmatched by other performing arts schools in its professionalism and commitment to nurturing talent. Its teachers are industry professionals with a wealth of experience in performing arts, ensuring that every student reaches their potential and beyond. The training offered here pushes students to achieve things they could scarcely believe, whilst simultaneously being immensely fun and enjoyable.
I have had the honour of adjudicating at Peploe-Williams Academy and am constantly impressed by the professionalism Emma Peploe brings to her young students. The talent and enthusiasm of the students is a joy and the fact every individual is developed to their own capacity is apparent. The standard of work in preparation for LAMDA and ISTD exams means the students have a first class training to excel at these exams. Even at age 8 (the youngest age I have personally worked with) the experience they bring at that tender age is testament to the early years training they've been given. The students clearly adore Emma and her staff and watching their talent develop and flourish is incredibly impressive. Individuality is encouraged and I have seen first hand the confidence instilled in the students and the high level of skills they are taught. As a professional actress of 40 years, I would be proud to work with any of Peploe-Williams Academy students. And I have no doubt I will have that pleasure soon.
I am a professional Actor with 30+ years experience in high profile West End Musicals, Tours and Feature Films. Having adjudicated for the Academy in the past I am confident in saying the Emma and the Academy are providing their students with the highest levels of expertise, professionalism and ethics. I mark the students to the standard that I would expect to see of young professional people in this industry and on all occasions they were given the highest marks by my colleague and myself. The Academy is at the top of the league in my opinion, way ahead of the competition.
Brilliant teaching with technique and performance emphasised. Warn and welcome teachers who encourage and support students. Highly recommended.
Emma is the best, and helped me to get into my dream drama school. PWA is like a family ❤️
I can't recommend this academy enough to anyone in search of an outstanding performing arts school. This school doesn't only train the students in class but it also allows them the opportunity to get used to performing in front of a panel which prepares them for an audition scenario in the future. In turn, it builds tremendous confidence in them, as by the time they leave the academy, it becomes second nature and will be less anxious when they go for castings and auditions professionally. The yearly shows give every student a chance to perform with a live audience which in itself is priceless. Emma, who runs the academy, is a seasoned West End performer and has first hand experience in what it takes to succeed in the industry. She also has Masters at Guildhall and is a qualified LAMDA Acting and MT Examiner. She is meticulous and has a keen eye for perfection in technique as well as allow her students to develop their own style and flair in their craft. You are definitely in good hands with PWA, as unlike the other big chains of theatre schools where one is just a number, the service you get here is a more personalised one and you've got a good sense of family and support within. Here, your children will get the chance to hone their skills in all aspects of performing, may it be in acting, singing or dancing, with the aim to attain distinction in every performer and get them equipped with the skills and sensibilities to last in a very competitive industry when they leave the academy. The graduates can attest to its standard and are indeed living proof of the school's excellence, as they take on new work in theatre, film and tv even at their training period.
It’s impossible to review the Peploe-Williams Academy without using words like Professionalism and Excellence! As a guest teacher and adjudicator I have first hand experience of the quality and individual coaching investment in every student’s training… Emma Peploe-Williams brings professional West End career experience and constantly developing teaching practices to deliver the most valuable and engaging courses around. The diverse courses available offer something for every student, and every ability… regular guest coaches ensure even the most current trends are included… in the most inclusive training environment.. this Academy sets the training standard other schools try to match!
I went to school with Emma - we both worked in the West End and have since both gone on to share our experience with others. I know that Emma feels like I do - seeing others progress, flourish and achieve is so very rewarding. I am so impressed with all she has achieved, knowing how much hard work and dedication is required in order to run a successful school and I wish her continued success!
I was a student at the academy for about 9 years and it really shaped my world in theatre and performance. Lovely training staff and wonderful facilities available. Could not recommend enough for prospective students who want to grow their confidence, not only in performance, but also in meeting people and making friends.
I have adjudicated and taught at many theatre schools, have appeared in numerous west end plays and musicals, and TV and film throughout my long career, so feel qualified to be able to review this amazing place. I'm yet to see kids so dedicated and professional. Each one blew my mind and made me glad I wasn't starting out in the business when this was going to be my competition. Headed up by the amazingly talented Emma, I've always been more than happy to send industry professionals to do work shops and teaching at this school. Were my kids wanting to follow in my footsteps, I couldn't think of a better start than to attend this academy. Very proud to be associated with it, and blows away all competition.
The Peploe-Williams Academy of Theatre and Performing Arts is a nurturing and professional training academy for aspiring performers. Having previously taught Singing and Musical Theatre there and adjudicating their practical assessments, I have witnessed the committed students and well run classes. Emma has created an energised and caring environment based on her professional experience and employs inspired industry professionals. The quality of the teaching is consistent and current. I highly recommend this school as a fun but serious environment for any young person with an interest in the Performing Arts.
My daughter has attended the academy for 9 years and has grown in confidence and skill. The calibre of teaching staff is exemplary and they are so supportive of the children. Highly recommend.
My daughter has been at PWA since she was 4, she is now 13. Emma and the team have had a massive impact helping her with her confidence and feeling like she belongs. My daughter has learning difficulties as well as a few medical issues, at PWA, she forgets about them , she doesn't see herself as different to others, nor is she treated any differently. She has - with the help of the PWA team and peers - been made to feel just like everyone else. If she struggles with something, a way is found for her to approach it differently. She feels part of something-an extended family, she is encouraged to believe in herself and work for what she desires. She is happy. The older students really look out for the younger ones and are always on hand to help. The younger students look up to the older ones. There is no them and us. Everybody is encouraging of each other. The shows are always amazing, demonstrating how much the children love what they do, all the singing, dancing, acting., all the happy smiling faces. There is always a part for everyone, no-one is left out.
Both of our children have only been there a few weeks, but they were both very excited after the first visit and class. The encouragement and support is amazing from Emma and the in class supports. Truly enriching from day one and made them feel.very welcome and want to go back. Nothing is too much to help prepare our children get the right feel and uniforms to be part of the school. Thanks
